Cars N’ Coffee Riverside was founded by a teenage couple in March of 2023. Johnny and Natalie, 19 at the time, would drive their RX7 FCs around downtown Riverside and would always notice the huge parking lot on Lime St. They would take pictures of their cars under that bridge often. On the weekends they would go out to car shows but they got tired of going to car events that were 45+ minutes away. Johnny then decided to create an event of his own at that mini “Daikoku” location because he thought it was a perfect spot.

At the time, the couple had no intentions of it growing. The car culture in Riverside wasn’t that big and the sole purpose was to have fun and meet new car enthusiasts. However, as time went on, more and more people would show up from the small flyers on Instagram. So many people that Johnny had to acquire the permits to host events there officially!

A big part of it all is the helpers and friends who volunteer to keep it going. Organization was key for us to keep getting that positive feedback. Louie was one of the first helpers to keep it running smoothly. With the event growing in popularity, we added more helpers to our team! Oziel, Haytham, Gustavo, and Aiden all came on board with the same passion. The best part is we all still have fun like we did in the beginning.

The rest is history; they all run this event that Johnny and Natalie created collectively. Hundreds of vehicles attend each month including exotics, vintage, classic, muscle, and sports cars, pickups, 4x4's and motorcycles. The most popular is JDM cars of course.

Now are goal is to keep uniting passion on wheels!
